Collection: Soap Bars

Cold process soap making is the original, traditional method of making soap by combining fats and oils (in this case plant based not animal) with sodium hydroxidelye then blending in additional ingredients such as essential oils, clays and plant colourants as required.

This process causes a chemical reaction called saponification which takes up to 48 hours. Then after an additional slow curing process of about 4-6 weeks we have a product that we recognise as soap. The lack of heat during the process ensures that the oils, butters, and essential oils remain unspoiled and release their therapeutic properties through the luscious lather of the soap.
